The DIY EPA-36 Test uses a DNA-based method, through MSQPCR, to speciate the most common molds caused by indoor water-damaged structures. Once the genospecies of mold are established, a correlation between fungal toxins and health effects can be made. The test only requires a single dust sample and includes shipping and laboratory fees.
